NEWS AND EVENTS:
SENIOR NEWS!
Senior Wall of Fame
When you start receiving College or Post-Secondary Acceptance letters, please please let the Career Center know! We are creating posters, which will hang on our Post-Secondary Wall of Fame, for every senior that has chosen to continue their education after high school by enrolling in, and being accepted to, a post-secondary program including, college, university, military branch, tech school, trades program or apprenticeship! The posters will feature your picture, the school or program you will be attending in the fall, your major or area of study, and your post-secondary school logo. At the end of the year you will get to take your poster home with you for a small fee! Please click on the link below to tell us which school, program or military branch you've been accepted into and we will get your poster started! See Nicole Johnson in the Career Center for more information.
ASVAB TESTING
The ASVAB stands for the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery. It is a FREE test typically used as a military entrance exam, however, it is also an excellent career exploration tool that any student can take advantage of. Anyone can take the ASVAB, regardless of their post-secondary goals. The Career Center offers the ASVAB for Juniors and Seniors three times a year, once each trimester. Sophomores are given the opportunity to take the ASVAB in Trimester 3 only. Click below to view or take a free practice test!
