A campus tour is one of the best ways to decide if a school is the right fit for you. However, it can be difficult, time consuming and expensive to visit school campuses in person; this space is dedicated to provide you with a virtual experience to explore different univeristy, community college, technical school, and trade school campuses. We will also display updated application and financial aid  information as well as virtual events from schools that provide it. Let's go!

Search thousands of campuses and take a virtual tour of your favorites! You will also find important admissions information for each school as well. *Please note that not all schools provide virtual tours.

College Comparison

There are more than 2,000 colleges in the United States! That's a lot of choices, and finding the right fit for you can seem like a daunting task! Enter College Board Big Future.... this site has a great college comparison tool for you to use to compare your top three schools! It will show you tuition rates, size of each campus, location, admissions requirements, financial aid information, etc.. Try it out! It might just help you narrow down your top choices when creating your post-secondary plan.

Campus Updates & Events

Eastern Washington University

  • Direct document upload is now included in the application.

    • Students can upload documents directly into their EWU Admissions Application. Examples: unofficial transcripts or signed application fee waivers.

 

  • Transcripts are simpler to send.

    • Transcripts can be mailed to our office (304 Sutton Hall, Cheney, WA 99004) or they can be sent electronically through our transcript uploader.

 

  • EWU is test optional for admissions and test blind for scholarships.

    • EWU Admissions is permanently test optional with test alternatives for our freshmen and for transfer students with fewer than 40 credits.

    • We are test blind for our scholarships, which means test scores will not be considered when offering automatic scholarships to students.

 

  • Financial Aid has expanded opportunities for students and families.

    • The FAFSA/WASFA is now available!

    • Financial Aid is hosting monthly sessions for students to learn more about financial aid and to ask questions. Sign up at www.ewu.edu/virtual.

    • Students who are admitted to EWU will receive automatic EWU scholarship offers.

    • EWU’s General Scholarship application will go live Nov.1.

    • Communication for next steps in EWU Financial Aid offers will begin in January.

    • EWU is on the working committee that will help standardize all financial aid letters across Washington state (yay!).

  • Admissions Fall Information Guides Arrive by Mid November.

    • With so many schools operating virtually, we developed an online version called the EWU LookBook.

    • Our virtual webpage is continually updated for students .

 

  • Important Date to Know: Feb. 1!

    • Feb. 1 is our deadline for priority admission applications and for FAFSA and WASFA priority applications, and it’s a firm deadline for our general EWU scholarships.

 

If you have questions or concerns, we’d love to set up a virtual meeting with folks on our team to talk through the updates. Our staff contact information is updated to provide a scheduling link for meetings, too. You can even text recruiters directly! Last year we received 100,000+ text messages from students!

WHY GO TO Trade School? ......JOB GROWTH!

The U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics shows between 2016 and 2026, a 6% increase in job growth is expected, which means almost 48,000 new positions in the automotive mechanic technology field. Projections also show employment increasing as much as 7.8% for auto body workers and 9.2% for auto glass installers. Diesel service technicians and mechanics have an expected job growth rate of 10%, that's almost 27,000 new jobs nationwide by 2026. The job outlook for auto technicians shows a very promising career ahead.
